Bethany & Julian’s Old Western Pioneertown Rustic Wedding
Firstly, this was a first for Undercover Live to be performing at an old Western movie set and soundstage! Yep, how cool is that? Bethany & Julian decided to have a Pioneertown rustic wedding at the Sound Stages. Also, Undercover provided ceremony sound and a 5 piece band for dancing. Plus, this amazing couple took advantage of our event professionalism and skills. So, since they did not hire a wedding coordinator, things seemed to become a little overwhelming for the couple. Luckily for them, our lead vocalist/emcee sprung into action! So, we took care of pouring the champagne for toasts and even took charge of the timeline. Literally, we were the band, emcee, and wedding coordinator. Which, all we wanted was for the night to be a success for Bethany and Julian and it happened. The lead singer saved the evening and the guests had no idea. 🙂
The Venue
The Sound Stage in Pioneertown, CA has quite an impressive history. For starters, this venue was originally built for some big 1950’s movies and shows. So, just to name a few: “Range Rider,” “annie Oakley,” Buffalo Bill Jr.,” “The Gene Autry Show,” “Cisco Kid” and “Judge Roy Bean.” Also, if you’ve ever visited Pioneertown, you will notice it is like stepping back in time. Because, most of the town is an old western set, the city barely ages and has become a hidden secret for tourist. However, this is just one big gold mine for the fans of the old western movie genre.
