Laguna Cliff’s Marriott holds a Sweet Reception for Paul and Michelle
At the edge of a hill in Dana Point lies the Laguna Cliff’s Marriott Resort & Spa. It overlooks the ocean close by and is surrounded by a vast amount of luscious green grass, plants, and trees. It is a beautiful and irresistible location to not hold a wedding reception. Paul Schmitt and Michelle Demateis decided that this was the perfect place for them and it was definitely an evening they would not forget, and neither would our party band.

The outdoor venue was prepared by the resort’s pool. It’s fountain features sprayed a cool mist every so often toward the venue that the couple’s guests could enjoy during the warm part of the afternoon. The tables prepared for the evening’s dinner surrounded the dance floor rather than having been placed a short distance away so that everyone could get up and dance the evening away as they wished.

One of the most interesting features that Paul and Michelle had for their reception was that there was a large table that had jars full of all kinds of candy and sweets. Their guests could try some if they so desired to and more desserts came by that table throughout the evening. They even had sofas located around the venue so that not everyone had to sit at their table during the entire celebration. And as an extra treat, the couple requested a small group of string instrument players to play some classical music on the side.
Undercover later stepped in and called on everyone to step up to the dance floor and make the night more lively. People, young and old, came and made the evening an entertaining and memorable blast for these two very special people.
We are very grateful for Laguna Cliff’s Marriott for hosting us, as well as Paul and Michelle. The entire event was full of sweets, music, and fun.
