Venues in Los Angeles
Los Angeles is home to a plethora of world-class venues in some legendary neighborhoods. Without a doubt, with over 200 neighborhoods in 503 square miles of the city, there are plenty of amazing venues and locations to choose from! So, we would like to start highlighting some of our favorites one at a time.
Candela Taco Bar & Lounge
Firstly, Candela is centrally located in the historic Miracle Mile neighborhood on S. La Brea Ave. Now, this versatile venue has a fantastic upstairs lounge that overlooks the main ballroom area. Also, it’s also equipped with a full bar at one end of the space. Which is nice, since it allows for your bar lines to stay isolated from the rest of your mingling guests. So, if you are looking for a great cocktail hour location, you can take full advantage of the lounge.
The Candela Ballroom
Secondly, the main ballroom holds 850 guests and boasts high ceilings and a full sized stage. Obviously, making this a great place for live bands and entertainment. Now, the domed ceiling is intricately designed with beams that criss-cross one another throughout. Which is nice, from a live band perspective, as it helps with acoustics and sound. So, you don’t need the entire ballroom or want to section it off? Well, a large white curtain cuts the space in two. So, hold a wedding ceremony on one side of the curtain to allow for a room flip. Or, section off the space since you just don’t need the full ballroom. Also, the partial space holds 350 guests. Still, large enough for most private events.
A Taco Bar
Thirdly, if you are looking to hold your event at Candela, no need to contract a separate catering company. Candela takes care of the food for you. Which, by the way, it is a Taco Bar and their tacos are mouth-wateringly good! So, you have to take advantage of their delicious Mexican fare if you have your event here.
