Great Chinese wedding reception entertainment and food are so important!
Dragon dancers, great food, & these people love to party! Carla had all the kids were on the stage with us and it made for some really memorable moments! They also had a special performance from a mini Michael Jackson impersonator, aka one of the children. This couple booked Undercover for this special day! Congrats!

Double Happiness
No Chinese wedding is complete without some double happiness. Try incorporating it in your invitation (we love the mix of west and east with the double happiness wax seal) or on your favors.
Gate crashing
We are hoping that this fun Chinese tradition makes a comeback! The groom and his groomsmen have to play a series of games before he is allowed in the bridal chamber—such as eating raw onions, doing pushups and “paying off” the bridesmaids.
Tea ceremony
A tea ceremony is an old Chinese tradition that you can include on your wedding day. It is a great way to show some respect to your elders (and some major thanks to your parents) while taking a break between the ceremony and reception with a nice cup of tea.
Cherry Blossoms
The cherry blossom, which symbolizes femininity and beauty, has long been apart of Chinese history and art, so these delicate blooms are a lovely choice for a Chinese inspired wedding.
Qipao Cake
While you can’t go wrong with flower on your wedding cake, don’t be afraid to think outside the box and try something different. We love how this cake is dressed up in a qipao—so creative and chic!

With Chinese weddings, when we say entertainment we don’t mean just an awesome DJ. Consider some really festive fun by inviting dragon dancers or Chinese drummers to come perform during your reception!
