You’re scouring Los Angeles for some wedding entertainment and I have something
extremely important and possibly controversial to tell you. It may be your wedding day,
but your wedding day doesn’t just belong to you. I know, I know. It’s a celebration of the
love you’ve found and the vow you’re making to share the rest of your lives together, but
while you were dreaming of your big day, there were others dreaming of it too; all of the
people that love you. The whole purpose of a celebration is to share your joy with the
people that are most important to you.

That being said, it’s extremely tempting to pick out all the newest tunes when scanning
our extensive song list. Please DO. Undercover keeps our finger on the pulse of pop
music so we can provide the most current wedding entertainment Los Angeles has available. Pick out those songs that will make you grab your new spouse and race to the dance floor. Now pick
music your family would love to hear. At countless weddings, the bride and groom have
painstakingly gone through our song list and picked out all of their favorite tunes, only to
approach the stage in a panic during the reception to ask, “Do you guys play any
Elvis???”

Undercover asked some of their favorite couples what the most memorable moment of
their reception was:
“Uncle Brad is…well, he’s uptight. He’s never cracked a joke let alone cut a rug. The
dance floor was pumping. Suddenly we all part like the red sea and here comes Uncle
Brad! Jaws hit the floor. His thumbs were tucked in his armpits and his elbows were
flapping up and down like crazy…I guess that’s the chicken? I dunno. Apparently, Uncle
Brad is a HUGE Stevie Wonder fan. HUGE. Who knew? I’m SO glad we got that on
video.”

“You started playing ‘At Last.’ Grandpa handed Dad his cane and lead Grammie to the
dance floor. To be honest, they’re both in their nineties and we weren’t even sure if they
were going to be well enough to make the wedding. They danced with their eyes closed
and you could tell that it was like no time had passed. I hope we’re like that.”
“My groomsmen and I were quite the break dancers back in the day, but that was over
twenty years ago. So when Billie Jean starts up and my Best Man Tyler dove down to
do the worm, I was like, WHOA. This could go terribly wrong. It did. He got down there
and basically forgot how. He kept trying to do it from side to side. I can’t even explain
how weird it looked. We couldn’t leave him hanging so all the groomsmen got down
there with him. I have the best picture of it hanging in my office.”

The moral is: your wedding party may want to party like it’s 2015, but Aunt Betty’s going
to want to party like it’s 1999, and Peepaw and Meemaw are going to want to party like
it’s 1956, but only if you let them! If your guests have the time of their lives, you’ll
cherish those memories for a lifetime. Doesn’t that sound like the wedding you’ve been
dreaming of?
