When we first met Jason Undercover was playing at his best friend Brad & his bride Jasmine’s wedding at the Los Angeles Automotive Museum. Read that blog post. Every weekend we hand out our business cards and hope to hear from the clients. And sure enough we did hear from Jason, As soon he knew he needed Undercover for his Hilton waterfront beach resort wedding entertainment. Walking into the room to set up I knew this new ballroom The Breakwater ballroom was legit!

It takes a lot of good hard working vendors to put this together and sometimes things don’t go all according to plan. I first noticed there was a small problem when I noticed 60 minutes before doors that there were no chairs!! Normally chairs are in place by the time we arrive to set up so this was a little odd. There was still a lot of vendors setting up the flowers, table settings etc so I assumed all was good.

When I returned to the room after getting changed into me suit, I recognized one of the house staff sales managers who looked stressed out and offered to help. In my full suit I was walking the room adding chair cushions to the chairs while leaning over velcroing them to the chairs and soon ran out of cushions. Ok then back to the green room to wait for the reception to start I thought. The coordinator Emily @styledbytc gives us the 15 min notice and we return to the reception and finally see all the chairs. The chairs vendor apparently got in an accident after bring the wrong chairs first. OMG! In an effort to get the room open on time, Jennifer and Jason’s Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort Wedding Entertainment – Undercover (the entire band!) was helping to put the seat cushions on and velcro them to the seats. Now that’s team work! Emily the coordinator emailed the next day and said: George! Thank you SO much to you and your band members for getting in there and helping with those damn chairs. I appreciate it so much.
A successful evening was had by all and Undercover was the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort Wedding Entertainment that works as a team with all the vendors. Jennifer and Jason thanked me afterwards and said that we we everything they expected and more. That’s how I spell success! | George Loreto – Owner/Guitarist
