MMA Fighter Gets Married
Emerald Bay, right next to Swanson Park, has an amazing view and is a location meant for Laguna Beach weddings to be held. While you could be playing volleyball, tennis, or swimming with everything this resort has to offer, it also is fit for hosting people’s most anticipated celebrations. When Chad and Sofia Roy found this location they knew they just had to have their reception here.
Once Undercover arrived they set up and something caught one of our band member’s eye. He looked at the bride and mentioned to the band leader that she looked like an MMA fighter. This was hard to believe because Sofia looked so beautiful. More about this later…

The wedding was themed completely in white and there was a huge white tent set up at Swanson Park for the reception and dance floor. Sofia and Chad were beaming with grace and happiness, complimented by all the white surrounding them. Once Undercover began to play, the couple started showing off their moves and eventually the crowd began to follow. This was an amazing evening for us as well as the newly wedded couple.
Of course these events don’t all of a sudden magically prepare themselves. We have Holly Chavez to thank for her dedication and hard work. This event would not have been what it was without her experience and affirmative action in coordinating everything for this memorable wedding reception. We’d also like to recognize Cean One Studios for the video made to remember this special day for Sofia and Chad. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Roy, and may you have a bright and wonderful future.
Now back with the rest of the story….They decided to check to see if they were right and if they were really going to have the opportunity to be playing for an MMA fighter’s wedding reception. It turns out our fellow band member was correct! This was definitely an interesting and very unique experience for us. While the groom, Chad, might be the man in this relationship, Sofia Bagherdai shows that she can hold her own just fine. She is one super tough gal!
