JB Hunt Kicks Off 2015!
JB Hunt has long been dominating the roadways with their white trucks bearing their distinctive yellow logo. These shipping industry salesman, managers and associates of every level need to recharge every year to keep their eyes on the ball. This year, the local offices in SoCal called Undercover Live Entertainment to provide a band for their 2015 Kick Off Party on a harbor cruise in Newport Beach provided by Hornblower Cruise Line. The itinerary was set: a little food, drink and the musical styling of Undercover Live Entertainment’s 5 piece band known as “The Core.” We loaded our equipment onto a 140 foot yacht called Endless Dreams. The name seemed appropriate for the theme of the day. Endless Dreams has been featured on: CSI: Miami, HBO’s Entourage, Showtime’s Dexter, and the KTLA Morning Show so she’s kind of a big deal! The band had an amazing time and we got some of these great pictures from Melanie Kim from Melanie Kim Photography.

But that’s just half of the story…..
After dinner was served, everyone gathered around for a dance/hollahoop contest. No big deal, right? Well, this is where it got SERIOUS! Liquid courage washed over the crowd as they collected money to convince their big boss man to break dance! As the band kicked into Salt and Pepper’s “Push It,” boss man stopped and said “I am not saying I won’t break dance, I am just saying I wont break dance for this amount of money!” Well, everyone erupted into a frenzied “WHAT?!?!” and sure enough, more money was thrown at his feet until the Boss man gave in and laid down some serious popping and locking!! To make it all the more amazing, he collected all the money strewn about the dance floor and generously gave it to the band to show his appreciation. What an awesome turn of events!
