Catalina Wedding Band Entertainment for Kevin & Lauren

When you think of a destination wedding, you always think of a land far far away. Perhaps, a remote tropical location or winter wonderland requiring everyone to fly in from out of town. Undercover was lucky enough to be the Catalina wedding band entertainment of choice for a gorgeous wedding for an awesome couple. Plus, all we needed was the ferry and shipped all our gear over to the island! Not to mention, we tagged along our significant others and enjoyed a getaway for a 3 day weekend. So, needless to say, we had a little R&R after our performance and it was amazing!

Santa Catalina Island

There is a beautiful and magical oasis of an island just about an hour ferry ride away from Los Angeles and Orange counties. By the way, you are already entertained by the ride from the mainland to Santa Catalina. Plus, the views of Saddle Back Mountain grow farther away in the distance.

But yet, a mountainous island grows closer and larger that is reminiscent of the Mediterranean Sea. Your reminder of Southern California are the sea lions that pop up for air in the distance or sunbathing on the buoys. So, by far, the perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of over 22 million people in one of the nations largest metro areas. All of this, and greeting you by a California gem of a city, Avalon, CA. A city of golf carts that run the streets with only about 2,000 motor vehicles allowed on the entire island. So, fortunately, you won’t find a chain restaurant in this city. All locally owned restaurants give you this unique experience you can’t find in too many other places. So, what an incredible location for the wedding of Kevin and Lauren on November 3, 2018.

The Reception and Entertainment

Undercover was nicely set up in a room that was open to a balcony overlooking Descanso Bay behind the famous Catalina Casino. Of which, you can see in this picture of Kevin and Lauren’s first dance by Natalie of Natalie Schutt Photography that the view was a perfect backdrop at the Descanso Beach Club.

Kevin and Lauren were a lively and fun couple. As you can see, they knew how to party! Their guests followed suit! We can say it was one successful night. All the more reason why we love what we do. Here are a few more pictures of what our night was like with them.
