When Michaela and Cameron first called us to discuss their San Luis Obispo wedding band at Higuera Ranch, I knew this was gonna be one for the books! They were both so easy going and only wanted one thing… to dance their a** off. 3 Areas of Entertainment
When we arrived we were greeted by the house staff and shown around to the Ceremony, Cocktail hour area beneath the huge tree next to the barn and then to the stage in the barn. So we set up a wireless mic for the officiant, a mic for the readings and our piano player played seating music as guests arrived. The second set up was a wireless speaker system set up in front of the barn for Cocktail hour and the Dinner service. We use Sennheiser wireless for all of our systems and we use the paddle antennas so the speeches and toasts don’t suddenly drop out due to 150+ cell phone interference. But regress. Then we had a 7 piece band (Female lead vocal, Male lead vocal, Saxophone, Guitar, Keys, Bass & Drums) inside the barn for dancing after dinner. The perfect grounds
I am sure many of you have been to “Rustic Barn Wedding” and realized after you got home that those cool kid shoes you bought are ruined, ask your significant other about it, trust me! Here is the great thing about this venue when it comes to the ladies and gents wearing cool shoes, there is no dust and dirt all around this venue so bring on the the new digs!
Time to party
I told you at the beginning that this group was gonna get down. What I did not know about was the balcony that was above the dance floor. Well Undercover the San Luis Obispo Wedding band at Higuera Ranch brought it! Michaela & Cameron’s guests went crazy when Undercover’s lead singer Derrick went to the balcony and got the crowd in a frenzy with call and response with the audience.
